Jenny toasting her success!

WGNS’s Jenny Hilton has received highly deserved recognition at the Blaby District Council Community Awards 2021. Jenny received the ‘Volunteer of the Year’ award following 5 years of fantastic work supporting a large number of WGNS users. She received lots of nominations many of which were provided by the users themselves who greatly value her support.
Councillor Terry Richardson who gave a lovely speech, presented Jenny with a certificate and £100 as a reward for all her hard work. WGNS are also very grateful to receive £750 in funding from Blaby District Council, thanks to Jenny’s success. Blaby District Council supports WGNS service through the Blaby Lottery funding system which provides regular funding to support funding to support our valuable work in the community.
